Abstract: A growing number of cities are now making urban data freely available to the public. These initiatives, however, are fairly recent and the landscape of open urban data is still not well known. In the first part of the talk, Luciano Barbosa (CIn/UFPE) will present a study that takes a first step toward understanding the current landscape of open urban data to better assess the challenges and opportunities for finding, using, and integrating urban data. Then, will be presented some case studies related to bus quality service using real GPS bus data.
